The general Terms and Conditions of Sale set out below govern the contractual relationship between the ‘User’ (also referred to as ‘You’ or the ‘Customer’) and Blacktown Hot Water (also referred to as ‘We’, ‘Us’ or the ‘Website’). Both parties accept these Conditions unreservedly. These general Conditions of Sale are the only conditions that apply and replace all other conditions, except in the case of express, written, prior agreement otherwise. By confirming your order, you acknowledge that you have read and unreservedly accept our general Conditions of Sale. These Terms and Conditions of Sale exist to protect your rights as a customer and our rights as a business.
This website is regularly updated, and content, features or services may be added, changed or removed over time. We reserve the right to update the Website and these Terms and Conditions at our discretion and without prior notice. It is your responsibility to keep up-to-date with the latest Terms and Conditions by checking this page from time to time. Your continued use of the Website following the publishing of updated Terms will be taken to mean that you have read and agree to the changes.
We make every effort to keep the Website available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to take the Website offline for short periods for maintenance and will keep any downtime to a minimum. We will not be liable if any part of the Website is unavailable at any time, for any length of time.
Some areas of the Website require you to log in with an account. To register, you will need to provide an email address and choose a secure password. We strongly recommend choosing a strong password and logging out at the end of each session. A password reset process is available if you forget your password. All prices on the Website are shown in Australian Dollars and include GST. Delivery and installation charges, where applicable, are clearly identified separately. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but the price applicable to your order will be the price displayed at the time the order is placed. If an obviously incorrect price appears on the Website and is not corrected at the time of order completion (due to human error, technical fault or any other reason), we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund any payment made, even if the order has been initially confirmed.
We will always endeavour to fulfil your order once it is placed and paid for. If a product becomes unavailable after your order has been confirmed and paid for, we will refund the price you paid for that product within 30 days following the date of payment. If your order includes products that are temporarily unavailable, we may send the available products first and follow with the outstanding items once they are back in stock. Where appropriate, we may offer you a replacement product of equal price and quality. If you accept the replacement and later wish to return it under our Right of Return below, we will cover the return postage. If you decline the replacement and the original product is permanently unavailable, we will refund the price of the unavailable product.
The Website accepts Visa and Mastercard. These payment methods use SSL encryption to keep your transaction secure. You do not need to hold an account with the card issuer to use these payment methods.
Your order will be delivered to the address provided at the time of purchase. We deliver hot water systems across Blacktown and the greater Western Sydney area, including Mount Druitt, Seven Hills, Quakers Hill, Riverstone, Doonside, Rooty Hill and surrounding suburbs. Delivery to addresses outside our standard service area may be arranged on request and may incur additional charges.
Access for all deliveries is via standard vehicle road access only. If water or air freight is required, you may arrange a transport or logistics provider of your choice and we will deliver the item to that provider on your behalf — however, you accept full responsibility for any additional costs, coordination, and any damage that may occur during third-party transport. We accept no responsibility for damage or costs arising from third-party freight arrangements.
We do everything reasonable to meet the delivery timeframes shown on the Website. We cannot, however, be held responsible for late deliveries or lost packages caused by a third-party carrier, by you, or by any unforeseen event or Act of God. If a package is not received, an investigation will be conducted with the carrier on receipt of your claim, and this may take several days. No refund or re-delivery will take place during the investigation period.
Items will be delivered to street level or driveway only. If you require an item to be moved elsewhere on the property, you will need to arrange this at your own cost.
You have 7 days from the date of delivery to return a product you are not satisfied with. To return a product, you must send it back to us within this 7-day period, at your own expense, along with your invoice and a completed and signed returns form.
We recommend sending returned items by registered post and purchasing transit insurance for the value of the goods, in case the carrier loses or damages the goods. Shipping fees remain the customer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise. The right of return only applies to products that are returned in their original, complete and unused condition. Any product that has been damaged, is not in its original packaging, or has packaging that has been worn beyond simply opening the product, will not be eligible for refund. The 7-day window is calculated from the date of delivery. Some products may incur a 20% restocking fee, which reflects costs charged to us by manufacturers and suppliers. We will try to avoid this fee where possible.
Where a product is returned within 7 days of delivery and meets the conditions above, the customer will be reimbursed via the same payment method that was used to place the order.
Installation services are provided across Blacktown and the greater Western Sydney area. Installation outside this service area may be available at our discretion and may attract additional charges.
Installation prices shown on the Website are based on standard installation requirements meeting plumbing code. Installation prices assume easy access to the existing hot water system and that existing valves are in good working order. We do not take responsibility for pre-existing valves that leak or malfunction. Where existing valves need to be replaced, we will provide a price for this work before proceeding.
We reserve the right to decline an installation, and we reserve the right to charge additional costs for any job for any reason we consider reasonable, particularly where safety is a factor.
The details you provide are essential for processing and delivering your order, for billing, and for setting up any applicable warranty arrangements. Failure to provide accurate details may result in your order being cancelled. By registering on the Website, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information about yourself. Providing false information is contrary to these Terms and Conditions.
You have the right to access and correct any personal information we hold about you, in accordance with applicable Australian privacy law. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you at any time, and you can request changes to that information at any time.
This Website uses cookies that record certain information on your device. This information helps us generate visitor statistics and offer products that may be of interest to you based on your previous activity. Cookies do not contain confidential personal information.

These Terms and Conditions form the entire agreement between you and Blacktown Hot Water in relation to your use of the Website and supersede any prior agreements, including any earlier version of these Terms. If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be removed or limited to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
Any reviews, feedback or comments left on the Website by customers are moderated by us. If a comment breaches the law or is otherwise inappropriate (defamatory, abusive, off-topic or used as advertising), we reserve the right to refuse to publish or to edit the comment.
